The Challenge:
Leverage law firm’s success in having secured a smoke-free environment on behalf of a non-custodial parent seeking to alleviate his son’s asthmatic condition.
Strategic Approach:
A.L.T. recognized that the PR “hook” in this case was not the settlement itself, but rather the fact that the court had ruled in favor of the boy’s health over the right of the custodial parent to smoke in her own home. In a highly coordinated media relations campaign, the agency conveyed the case's newsworthiness to both the reginal and national print and broadcast media.
Results:
Results from the agency’s efforts were phenomenal. The story was carried in many of the major newspapers and the firm’s Senior Partner appeared on a myriad of local and national television programs. As a direct result of the exposure from the PR program, the firm garnered several new clients as well as an extremely large personal injury case.
