A.L.T. Legal Professionals Marketing Group is led by nationally recognized legal marketing experts Les Altenberg and Jean Arlene. Together, they head a multi-disciplinary team of professionals well-versed in the promotion of law firms, specific practice groups, individual attorneys and vendors to the legal community.

Les C. Altenberg, President
Les brings over 25 years of experience to these challenges. Initially working at some of the nation’s largest and most prestigious marketing firms (Young & Rubicam, McCann-Erickson, Foote Cone Belding), Les founded A.L.T. Legal Professionals Marketing Group as a means for providing law firms and those who serve the legal profession with strategic insight and resources to which they might otherwise not have access. He is the author of numerous legal marketing articles that have appeared in such publications as The National Law Journal, Law Practice, Texas Bar Journal and the Legal Intelligencer, among others. An avid lecturer, Les is a member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), a former member of the Advisory Board to the Paralegal Program at Burlington County College in New Jersey and has served as an instructor in the LMA distance learning series.

Les is also part of the team that developed ETIOMETRIX™ -- a new and innovative tool for assessing the return-on-investment of law firms’ marketing and business development initiatives. The application provides legal marketers and law firm management with data pertaining to the most efficient means for allocating marketing dollars, business development manpower, the role “word-of-mouth” is playing in the firm’s growth, the effectiveness of internal cross-promotions as well as the value of firm marketing vs. personal networking.

Jean Arlene, Vice-President
Jean brings to the agency a unique perspective garnered from over 20 years working in a diversity of industries. Jean leads the agency’s website development and online marketing efforts. Her work on SEO, PPC and other online initiatives has resulted in a lengthy list of client “success” stories.

If that were not enough, Jean has also established herself as one of the nation’s premier professionals in generating media exposure on behalf of law firm clients. Her efforts have garnered client appearances on such media staples as CNN, ABC, NBC, BBC, as well as in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Her work integrating community relations into the marketing efforts of the firm’s clients have proven especially effective in furthering their business-building programs.
